I have just bought a domain name for a website idea im trying out. Where or how to i go about with the right web hosting? Im trying to go about everything with the right steps.

when I had my own site i used godaddy but havent used them in a long time now days I use inmotion hosting and so far they are very nice to deal with. definatley stay clear of name secure they are a joke and not worth the powder it would take to blow them to hell

Most of the places where you register your domain will offer some level of a hosting solution. I've used GoDaddy for years for all of my sites. 1and1 gets a lot of praise as well.

All my sites are on 1&1, no problems over several years.

I am also using Inmotion Hosting from several years and still have no problem.Their service is reliable

I have tried several over the years and finally settled on IX WEB Hosting
They have plans for using either Windows Servers of Linus Servers. Linux is much cheaper
If you do not have a store front then Linux is the way to go.
They will also handle Domain Name renewals if you want.
