Kiro Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 That wait. XD What's the first game you'll play once you have everything setup?
Andrewr05 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Probably something familiar and graphically intensive to test out the new setup. Maybe Skyrim or Max Payne 3 or Metro 2033? I'm not sure yet.
RHKCommander959 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 mmmm. I love micro builds
VaporX Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Big builds and cases to me are now ugly eye sores. Small, compact, tight builds, those are sexy
Andrewr05 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Exactly, I've been wanting to build one for quite some time now. Unless you're using multiple ODDs, using more than 4 HDDs or making a one off WC rig then you don't need a big case. Sent from mobile browser... VaporX Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 My personal system is in a Caselabs Mercury S3, a large ITX for sure but I need the specific layout for work. My favorite case for a balance of size and build option is the Node 304. I also love the PC-TU100 and TU200.
Andrewr05 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Seems like a lot of companies in the past 3-4 years see that too, there are so many more high quality ITX and mATX cases nowadays. Also, more importantly, my SSD and heatsink came in yesterday. I'm probably gonna start building tomorrow or at least mock everything up, get my OS ready (gotta put W7 on a thumbdrive) and probably a few other things before I jump right in... Andrewr05 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I'm officially posting from my new system. It took me 6 hours to get it all put together after a lot of frustration and trial and error. Now my GPU wont be recognized, its displaying video right now, just nVidias drivers wont acknowledge it.
