Sgt_Strider Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 At the time I was shopping for RAM, some people told me this was TCCD memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820220033 However, I just want to double check again with people that have this to make sure it's TCCD. Also how do I remove the heatspreader so that I can look at the chips to confirm that it's TCCD? Is it hard to put the heatspreader back on after taking it off? Thanks! dspayre Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 if you remove the heat spreader it automatically voids your warranty. I dont believe that you can put then back on after its removed....but it will cool it better this way without the heat speaders and use a fan to blow over them. Worm Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Probably best to check around the Web for those modules and then compare the part numbers on the site you propose to buy from. One of those here

red930 Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Mine dun really respond to voltage and burning in.. Mine is week 513.. =) TCCD doesn't usually require or respond to burn in,you might want to see what others w/TCCD are using for settings and bios to get the most out of that ram.
