Aries Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Ok I have two sticks of Corsair 512MB value select RAM on my system and I have no idea how to use dual channel, or how to tell whether it already is in dual channel. They are both already in the orange slots 2 & 4. I went into the BIOS to see if it mentionned dual channel but I didn't see it. Did I miss something or is there another way to activate or verify dual channel?

Aries Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Does anyone know for sure how to determine if it's in dual channel or not?
KingPing Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 cpuz will tell you......http://www.cpuid.org/download/cpu-z-129.zip
StephenC Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 cpuz will show if you are running dual. As well memtest86 There is no extra setup needed. As Txmale36 said just make sure you have your mem in slots 2 and 4. Which you do.
mmcrae45 Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Look at the post screen on booting near the top. it will tell you if you running in dual channel. Have your finger over the pause key ready to stop the screen so you can read it.
