Loxguard Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 You need to assign the drive a letter and format it. To do this go to Start, Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, Administrative Tools, and then Computer Management. Go to Disk Management, and then format the raptor drive, and assign a drive letter to it.

You might need to define a raid array, add only the Raptor to that array, make sure it's set to mode 0 (striping, which is default for 1 drive I believe), and set it as the boot array. Then, assuming you have boot to sata set and formatted the drive correctly, it should boot from it.
red930 Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Which drive imaging software are you using to "copy" your drive? It sounds like the MBR is not making the trip.
Aurhinius Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Use Acronis Trueimage and select the upgrade disk option. Best program out there imho much better than norton
