reefer Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Hold on, am i reading this right. Is it so that Corsair/XMS4400/512MB has been officialy verified to work at it's rated speed on the DFI nf4 based mobos? If so can someone please point me to the settings for this Hynix D5 based ram. I officially can't get those up to 225mhz by ANY means. Please clarify!
dIAMONDback Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 reefer i believe that Samuel is talking about Corsair XMS TWINX1024-4400C25 memory , the memory that you have will Only do 275 on an Intel board as per Corsairs' website...there was a big stink about this when Corsair first brought this memory out because people didn't read the specs on that memory. Running a GB(4400C25) here on a ultra-d and she will hit 300 with no modifications in dram settings...Best of Luck
alesss Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 In the list the Kingmax memory has this chip *(KDL388P4KA-50), my has this (KDL388P4LA-50). Which are the differences? Is my Ram supported? And what's the meaning of the *?

Nil Einne Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Sorry to resurrrect this thread but I noticed there are several there that are Hynix chips. Does this effect your recommendation against Hynix?
