Way to go Buckstitch! Someone draw me up a Miller Lite, so I can propose a toast for another happy and healthy 20 years. But before I do that, I ask that we pause to remember those that gave their lives 64 years ago on this “Day of Infamy”. May they rest in peace. Amen.

I saw an interview earlier with a guy here in Ct. who was at Pearl that day. He's the Northeast regional director of the Pearl Harbor Survivors group. He said when he took over the job 5 years ago, there were 1500 members, but now it's down to 400! WWII vets are passing away...

Sad but true Blooz. We all know that no one lives forever, but we must make sure that their history and legacies are not swept away. My kids would know nothing about this or other observances if I did not pass this on to them. Nowadays, schools don’t emphasize the significance of these events in their curriculum. To me that is a shame and it would be a dishonor if it gets lost within the majority of the next generation.
