temp haven't seen a dramatic decrease because the as5 is still setting in. No overclocking because my psu won't let me.

Are you saying that your temps raised by installing this cooler ???:blink::blink:

He never said that, he said it hasnt seen a dramatic change...which seems odd even if the AS5 hasn't seeped it in.

Also what power supply do you have?

no i didn't. What I meant to say was with ambient temp hovering around 30c and have yet to see the difference between this and my Zerotherm. The AS5 is still setting in to. I did see a difference in load temps though. I have yet to reach 45c on load temps.

A Hec Zephyr made by Compucase. 750w. It sucks big time. If i try to overclock any forced load causes a freezeup. I know it's a powersupply because a frined of mine had a corsair 750 in his comp. We used his to test. Using his it never froze up. i'm getting me that corsair 750w psu for myself then.

750W is huge overkill for that system of yours, well unless maybe you have a computer case made of fans and a mini fridge in there :) (Off topic, god i wish i had a minifridge as my case.)

My setup will be expanding pretty soon with 3 more hds, another sound card, 2 more fans, and maybe another 3850 for cf. I will be getting the Corsair 750w psu for $130.00 at neweeg. It's all good.

The minifridge isea is not a good idea. The compressor in the minifridge wouldn't be able to handle the heat load from the computer.
