Ghost2520 Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 A friend just gave me a tight DVD drive made by Pioneer where it sucks the disc in instead of a tray coming out... I think it is plug and play but I am not sure... I don't have the ribbon cables for it so I was just going to use the ones from my old cd drive. Do I need any programs to watch DVD movie? Or will it just play in Windows Media player? Thanks... P.S. Didn't see a room for DVD drive help... so I put it in here... sorry if it has to be moved... Bosco Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Hardware? Goes under the Hardware section. If it doesn't fit any specific category then it should go under "Help".

sVperbeast2k5 Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Isn't that feature an add-on that you have to buy? Like a decoder for DVD's or something...
