road-runner Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Dang, 16GB. I am still using 512mb and a 1024mb. Alan I also remember and still have floppy drives and disk so your not alone on that part. Nice review...

Bosco Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Sheesh I remember not that long ago paying over a $100 for 1gig. Its nice to see bigger sizes on such a small unit no more carrying around an external Harddrive for 10 gigs.

Guest ajmatson Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Thanks for the kind words. I feel you guys. Let me tell you I was carring 6 flash drives in my pocket up until I did the review. Now everything has been transfered to this drive and I feel a lot lighter. The drive is great and it is nice to not have a cap on it to loose...... Waco Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Nice review! I use a 16 GB flash card in my EeePC and I am thoroughly impressed at the read/write speeds (especially given the low cost). It's going to be interesting when flash chips of this size and speed make their way into affordable SSDs. RAID 0 will finally have a use! I can't wait till SSD's become mainstream so I can put one in my laptop.
