Mwave "Assembly and Testing option

Has anyone every used Mwave's assembly and testing option to put together and test all components? How is there wire management etc etc. or do they just throw everything into the tower and ship it off.

TBH this really isn't the best place for a question like that. This is an enthusiast based shop and I would say probably 50% or better of our members have never had ANYONE assemble their PC for them.

 

Why would you want someone else to assemble it for you anyway? Assembly is half the fun. If you want a pre-assembled system then you should get a pre-built or order the parts and have someone else assemble it for you.

I think one of are new members got a cpu and motherboard off of them but he still put the system together him self. i think they just tested his Q6600 for him and to make sure it was a GO stepping. You should really build your own rig its hella fun

Building really is fun, plus you learn so much more that way.

Even if you do get it built for you, you are likely to upgrade or fiddle with components at some time or another, so you may as well start out knowing how to put things together.

 

Wire management is something that can be tricky to start with, but as long as you have some cable ties and are patient enough to spend some time that is pretty easy too.
