Nerm Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Well, I have everything I need to rebuild the chilly1 except for a new compressor. Anyone have any suggestions?
Gr4vitas Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 (edited) ---------------->Q6600!!!<------------------ Price, performance, quality, great overclocking potential! (get it from clubit though for the guaranteed G0 stepping.) Edit: You are going with an Intel setup right? Nemo Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 C'mon Nerm - you can overclock the Q6600 to 200 PSI can't you?

Nemo Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 He needs a compressor for a phase change unit, not an air compressor. Although I have to agree with you, that one is a beast.
Nerm Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 C'mon Nerm - you can overclock the Q6600 to 200 PSI can't you? hahaha...yea 200 PSI should be a breeze and 5 HP should be a piece of cake as well with the Q6600. Thats what I meant... this beasty... lmao! I don't think that is going to fit in the chilly1 chassis. hahahahaha

Lol I'm an epic failure today... in terms of the phase change department I haven't the slightest clue lol. My enthusiasm gets me nowhere here Edit: If your like me this page from Wikipedia may be a good read Edited February 8, 2008 by pogs16a2
Nemo Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 No, but you do get points for linking to Tractor Supply - I love that store!

My enthusiasm gets me nowhere here That is ok! Eagerness to help will never be shunned here at OCC. I am thinking another 1/4 HP like what the last one was, but I might have to go to 1/8 HP to stay in my budget.
road-runner Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I was going to post that this might not be the best place to get your answer on phase change Nerm, looks like I was correct, air compressor...
