NCC10281982B Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 I'm finally getting round to messing with this again. Anyways, I'm still getting Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed when using the following [img=http://overclockersclub.com/foldingimage.php?image=8&name=ijagwalaafq] Its the same code that I've seen other people use successfully. What gives? Also, boss, the f@h page still has the old school html on it. I've willing to deal with that but I need a working bbcode sample first. hardnrg Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 you need to paste in HTML code, not BB code... click the link in my sig to generate the correct code
NCC10281982B Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 I had html in my sig the whole time. Hence it was spitting out the a href stuff, thus not working. As I said I've seen the img code used in other peoples sigs, and it works.
ClayMeow Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 you use the HTML code and it takes it, but the next time you go into your sig, it'll be converted to BB code, so you have to redo it if you want to change your sig. As such, that means if you click to preview your sig, the same thing will occur; it'll convert it to BB code, thus giving you the error when you try to save it. hardnrg Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 so just paste in the HTML code Jeff and stop crying about it
NCC10281982B Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Steve, the attitude is not welcome. @clay thanks for explaining. I'll try that, however I don't get how pasting in new html is different than the html I had before from a code filters point of view. It worked using code from hardnrg's page, I don't get why (again I had html in there all along). thanks all.

I think you're confused on what HTML code is vs. BB Code <img src=""> = HTML [IMG][/IMG] = BB Code <a href=""></a> = HTML [URL][/URL] = BB Code
