AFIK the heat does not increase until you add more volts. I have never seen temps increase by just raising the bus speed...

CMOS devices dissipate the maximum amount of power when they are transitioning, that's why the heat increases as you increase the clock speed. The more you crank up the clock the longer they stay in the transitioning state where they are burning power and giving off heat.

Aren't you itching to try it faster rather than lower voltage?

 

its techically 75mhz faster than 350x9 :lol:

 

and i want to run as low as voltage possible on this darned stock cooling
