mazakman Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I've been listening to some music that I had downloaded years ago and wondered how well some of the older guys in these forums knew their music? OK, I admit that this might be for the hardcore music buffs, but any how, here it goes... In the early to mid 90's the American television stations used to air promotional commercials to promote beef. The narrator for the commercials was the late Robert Mitchum... Who can name the composer of the music that was featured in those TV commercials? I'll give you a hint... Emerson Lake & Palmer had a few very popular songs based on this early 20th century American composer, and PBS has also had a special about him on the American Masters series... Anyone up to the task?
