You've experienced air bubbles because you had no experience at the time... I hope that Azetek has their act together... if not just mount the damned thing with the hoses up!

I've tried clicking the white boxes but haven't tried deleting from within the message... let me try it out... Thanks Dave... it works from within the message... never noticed that lol.

    Corsair H50

Have "they" (the some that say) actually seen the bubbles or is this just speculation to ridicule and bash the H50? By the way... I have my tubes on top but could have mounted the rad so that they would be at the bottom.

    Corsair H50

The H50 is well worth the money... I have it running in an Antec 1200 with a push and pull configuration flowing out the back of the case by using the stock Antec fan and a powerful Delta 120 by 38... Needless to say I'm extremely satisfied!

Wow... stuff in there from 2004! Ok, I can't tag any of the messages so as to delete them... that's how it used to work in the past or am I losing my mind... on second thought don't answer that last part about losing my mind!

    Heatsink Cleaning

I'm a smoker so I'll take the heat sink off every 3 to 4 months and basically give the thing a bath using an industrial cleaner that I get from work (pharmaceutical company) but regular dish washing liquid should do the trick as it in most cases it will cut through grease, oils or whatever. First I'll shower the the heat sink using the vegetable rinser (or whatever you call those things if you have one that is) with hot water in the kitchen sink. Then I'll let it soak in a mixture of hot water and cleaner for a while then rinse it well... does the job every time and comes out spanking clean. Hope this helps.

    New router recommendations

I'll be getting a few of these in a couple of days... one for me and one for a friend: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=...anufacture=ASUS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16833320031 I'll be setting up mine first then move onto setting up my friend's. I really hope this works as the price is extremely competitive here in Canada. Got mine at a local computer shop for $66.99CDN each.

    garbage in pms

I know that at least one other member is experiencing this problem and it sure as hell is annoying... I've been replying to pms with him and the quotes seem to be screwed up... something that never happened in the past as far as I can remember. It's rather unnerving when you preview the pm before sending... Are there any other members experiencing this problem?

    Christmas Contest on the horizon

Oh my God... a voice from the past... it's the good Samaritan! How are you Max? Yeah it's been a while... things have slowed down a bit at work but will get back into high gear soon enough so I might disappear again just to reappear in different time zone.

    Looking for a good heatsink.

The H50 is a very good cooler if not used with the stock fan and is guaranteed for 2 years. I have mine set up with 2 fans attached to the rad, an Antec tricool (or whatever the hell they call them... Antec 1200 case) and a 120 by 38 mm Delta hooked up to a fan controller that pushes (pulls in my case... http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.p...owtopic=168515) well over 140 cfm at maximum settings. It all depends on what you are willing to put up with as far as noise is concerned and how the case and fan configuration will influence the performance of the cooler of choice. Hope this helps. Sorry for the double post... I'm on my wife's computer and it's areal POS.

    You're such a tease Dave...

Just picked up an Antec 1200

Well the Thermalright trad2 works on my youngest son's 1950 pro (my old card). Although the cooler is impressive... I'm less than impressed by the lack of performance of the fans that came with the unit... those Thermalright fans just don't cut it for the hardcore enthusiast. I'll look around for some Thermaltake 92mm smart fans if they are available... now those should impress me with this cooler!
  21. Hi guys, There is no comparison to the AMG Plusview that I've been using for the past 5 to 6 years. Not to say that it was a bad case but the 1200 is awesome! Cable management is great, got all cables running behind the back plate and cooling is rather surprising as I have all 6 fans on high and it's a lot quieter than the old case... somewhat like a mild hum as opposed to the whining of the 80 mm fans that were hooked up to a fan controller. At idle on stock cooler the temps are at 26 C compared to 30 C in the AMG Plusview using the Asus probe. I'll going to borrow a camera and post some pics. Thanks for moving the thread Dave.

    What case should I choose?

As far as I'm concerned it's not how big or small the fans are but how powerful they are, how they are placed throughout the case (blowing in or out) and what amount of air they can efficiently move through the case that you choose... you also have to take into account what noise level you can tolerate when considering your choice of fans... trial and error is usually the best way to determine what works best for you... Hope this helps.

    Frothy Bevvies

I love beer and/or single malt scotch but I tend to drink too fast so I usually wait until the mod is just about finished before cracking open a cold one or having a shot or two or three... boilermakers are not recommended during any kind of modifications (or anything else that demands dexterity come to think of it).
  24. I've had this monitor for a week now and it flickers and has vertical stripes is about the best way I can explain it (kind of scary when it happens)... I never had this problem with a 19 inch Acer I was using before or any lcd monitors that my wife or sons are/were using. The problem is when I power it up... it goes nuts every once in a while for about an hour or so then seems to stabilize and stay calm after that. Should I contact the vendor to see how they can help me or should I get in touch directly with Asus to work things out? Thanks.

    Asus VH236H problems

I know way more about cooling than these damned monitors. I'll get in touch with Asus tomorrow. Thanks.
