kendellrt Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 The only problem I see with the OEM is that you have to choose between 32 and 64-bit, whereas the full version and upgrades come with both. How do you know which one to pick. I know that most poeple would still say to get the 32-bit at this point. Won't we be seing a shift to 64-bit apps soon? mofiki Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 M$ has stated that if you want you are more then welcome to install the ultimate copy on one machine at a time, but it can never "Legaly" be installed on more then one computer. its somewhere on the new egg website
andrew220590 Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 heres a good question. With OEM can you get hold of a 32-bit Installer and use your 64-bit key and then activate legally? My 64-bit stuff isn't working properly
bigred Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 no, you bought the rights to the 64bit version not the 32 bit.
andrew220590 Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 ah that is strange. Mine worked and activated and i am genuine! I havn't cracked or anything. And i should have rights to both the 32-bit and 64-bit version becuase they are the same price!

Those may someday be same priced but that dose not make it legal.
