madwizard Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 (edited) Been out sick for a bit but during that time my Freezer 64 pro heatsink came and now managed to assemble and get back up and running. I added a couple exhaust fans to the back of my pc and the results are amazing. Main rig... CPU - 1937.77 MHz Bus Speed - 215.3 MHz HT Link - 1076.6 MHz Temps: CPU Idle - 28c CPU 100% - 32 - 33c Did a prime 95 test and got no errors.. Everything running stable and smooth. No Crash. A friend is coming over today and give me some pointers on pushing this baby higher. Edited January 21, 2007 by madwizard
kingdingeling Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 seems like someone is slowly getting into OCing
kendellrt Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Good so far, but watch that HT bus. You don't want to let it get very much higher than 2000 (1000*2[DDR]). That will cause a crash for sure, and you'll need to reset the CMOS. Before you go any further, I would frop the HTT multi to 4x. jammin Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 (edited) I don't know how good the board is for OCing but I'm thinking 2.2/2.3Ghz should be relatively easy to achieve (hopefully). What kind of voltage and RAM options do you have? Edited January 21, 2007 by jammin
