could someone please explain, I allow my card to find its optimal speed which is higher then stock ,I dont have the box checked to return ot stock after reboot.

but it keeps going back to the stock speeds anyway. Im using cool bits, I like that its a part of the control panel.

Is this common, or do I have a problem?

did you set it so that it keeps the settings at startup? driver reinstall? coolbits reinstall?

maybe something is hardcoded into the Bios on the card? i doubt it but check over at XS.

I run into the exact same problem with my card

Overclocking > Manual Overclocking:

 

i have a box that says "Apply these settings at startup" (ticked)

 

i oc'd manually and used 3DMark benches and games to determine the highest stable oc, not some random automatic oc thing

just what I said nrg, the find max stable crap doesn't work, gave me hard-locks in 3Dmark06 and 03!
