What Am I Missing?

Recommended Posts

Appreciate all the inof on timing.... but for now..... I really don't care.. :)

I just want to figure out the FSB thing first.. then I will tighten the timing up......

Starting to think there is an issue with the board because the thing is.... I haven't missed anythting....

No matter what I set the divider to, the RAM speed comes out the same.... I'll try and flash to a few other BIOS' and test.....

Had the board too long to RMA>.... but we shall see.....

I'll report back

A64 Tweaker did bad things

but I figured it out...there was something I was missing....

this option

Flexibility Option

The default value of this option is [Disabled]. It will allow better tolerance for

memory compatibility when it is set to [Enabled].

I disabled that... and Viola... I have my speed!!!

Thanks for all the help guys

Now to play with the timings!! ;)

Thats where i was going to go. The flexibility or compatability mode setting runs the memory on a divider therefore running you way slow. I have 2 of those on folding machines . They do ok as long as your cpu does not need the extra volts to clock well. Mine have been really stable so far( 6months) both cpu's are oced as high as the volts available will allow. I think 2.2 and 2.4 respectively.
