and to your comment queenz, Asus boards suck at OCing for 939, dunno bout AM2 or Conroe, but 939, Asus and Abit both suck really bad! DFI is the way to go!

Awwwww :(

Hopfully i can reach 3GHZ on with my cooler, I think i'll just buy a new board if i can't find a second hand one to buy.

I know for my 0601 939 x2, i am getting 3ghz without trying stable, i could go higher, but the chip i have is picky

it does not like to be stable above 60c

if i get it cooler, its stable, at almost any voltage,

i run 2.8 daily at stock volts.

So I'm making a swap. My 3500+ for a 3800+ X2.

I'm going to buy a Titan Amanda TEC aircooler to go with it, what's the rough OC i should get with this chip.

Other 3800+ers please post your OC's

Specs are in my sig.

Have you bought the Amanda yet? It may be hard to find. I would check out one of the CoolIT ones. They rock!
