ok so my dad said i can get the 2007 Scion tC Spec but then he saw the 2007 Toyota Corolla with 0% APR for 24 months. and hes like thats alot better than 6.0% on the scion. if i can get the scion price down a few hundred bucks, then he will go for it, i did everything i could (internet pricing and dealer negotiateing) and they will not budge, they said its called "pure-price" and they never lower the prices on the scions. is this true?

well he said i can get the scion if i can get the price down, and yes i have a say cuz im paying for half of it.

well ok then, if you can't get the price down, and you really want the scion...why not just offer to pay a few hundred extra? (if you can afford it)

Slip the Sales manager a couple hundred behind the scenes in exchange for him keeping the two hundred off the paperwork. It will look to your dad like you got them to drop two hundred bucks and nobody is the wiser.

Your going about this wrong. The dealership knows they have your money one way or another. Tell them that if they won't budge, then you'll just need to take another look at the Civic.

(Salesmen get comission for the cars they sell, not the customers they send to thier competitors)

if you tell them you can get a new civic for your desired price at another dealer, i betcha they'll come down a few hundred
