nan0click Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I had that problem once, the no install ID... I don't remember what I did to fix it, reboot maybe? But it was a strange glitch... "Can you read me your installation number?" "THERE IS NO FREAKING NUMBER THAT'S WHAT I'M TRYING TO TELL YOU!" Evenutally someone, along the tech support tree said reboot, and it worked, I think. BUt on the other hand there's no reason why they need to treat some like that. AND WHY! is there ALWAYS the language barrier?!?! :angry2: It's frusterating enough let alone dealing with a 'person' from different country. It's like you to spell out the issue to explain. Even then, sometimes don't work. I feel ya man... Ive called MS a couple times. I guess you could say everything went smoothly but I had to call a few times to get someone I could understand. Its cheaper for the company to outsource, but I would really consider paying a few dollars more to talk to someone without the language barrier.
