martymcfly Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I am posting this from my new Macbook. I bought it this morning. This thing is awesome. Very fast, OS X is a good OS, and it was easy to set up. It also looks pretty dang sharp and feels solid. If anybody has any questions about performance or anything else regarding the Macbook, don't hesitate to ask.

Andrewr05 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 (edited) When I used a macbook last month I was truly surprised at the ease of use and the speed of the machine, I expected "loooooong" loading times, but it went extremely fast... (last mac I used was about 5-6 years ago) All my favorite websites loaded almost 15X faster then my machine. And during my short period of usage (about an hour) I actually almost got used to the pop-up navigation bar thingamajig... martymcfly Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 (edited) yeah, how does BF2 run? I won't even try. It has a GMA950, so I doubt it would be even compatible. Edited October 10, 2006 by martymcfly

LoArmistead Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I actually considered getting a macbook for my next laptop. Then I noticed all the cars around here with Mac stickers on their bumpers have a "Kerry-Edwards" sticker right next to it... and I don't want to be associated with that . Hope it works out well for you.

I absolutely love the black casing, IMO the metal look of the MacBook Pro is boring... but dear god... GMA? I thought we were in the year 2006 =p
