Ste Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 (edited) Have had the card since Last January. Never had any problems or conflicts with it. Great sound, Music and Gaming. I have also used it through my two Speaker Sterio system, Sounds great there also. I have never used the 7.1 Though, I give it a thumbs up. suchuwato Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Why you want 7.1 I dunno, but the card is good anyways... The drivers are total crap, but the apu is good.
hardnrg Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 how many people do you know with 5.1 *set up right* let alone 7.1..? any fool can have 5 speakers randomly placed around the room and a sub somewhere... to answer your question, the a2zs has very good channel separation compared to pretty much every other soundcard, and it's easily noticeable... WhenKittensATK Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 i had this same question too like a month ago. just get a decent 5.1 speaker setup, it will sound great. i bought some cheap Logitech X-530s for like 45 bucks on newegg or you can save up and buy some speakers that can support THX which will make it sound even better. hockeyrcks9901 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 The only way you're ever gonna get good use out of 7.1 speakers is if you watch certain movies with it and have room to set them up correctly. Otherwise you won't be able to tell the difference between channels. I would suggest 5.1...I don't know much about the actual card you're talking about...sry. DevilMB3017 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 The APU in that card is the best out there for it's money. I'd suggest buying a good sounding 5.1 setup then blowing the money on a 7.1, really.
