ir_cow Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 well i installed windows tonight and started it up. after installing the main drivers for nforce than windows updates i restart to low disk space. i look and i have 180mb free out of 37gbs (40gb hdd). now im wondering how that is, i fully formated the drive so there is nothing left over. turn off system restore, dropped Vram to 100mb, now i have 400mb free. so i look for where its coming from. i select my doc's and shared folder, 10mb. i select C drive 37gb used 400mb free. i go into the Hard drive, select all the folders and it comes up with 1.23gb. ady1989 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 somethings DEFENETLY wrong. i say install windows again, do a FULL format on the HD, and make sure you partition right (NTFS format as well). i had something similar and that solved it for me.
