mxrider623 Posted March 9, 2003 Posted March 9, 2003 I dont know what happened but when i boot up my computer it says this: Searching for Boot record from Floppy...Not Found Searching for Boot record from CDROM...Not Found Searching for Boot record from SCSI...Not Found Boot Failure Insert Boot diskette in A: Press any key when ready and it just sits there and does nothing. someone did something when i wasn't home but they said they did nothing but it screwed up somehow pppllleeeaaassseee HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sykocus Posted March 9, 2003 Posted March 9, 2003 evidentially it can't find your HD...or at least the boot sector (or whatever its called). make sure ur HD is plugged in (both the power and IDE). what version of windows, if it's 2k or xp you could boot off the cd rom and try to repair it. Dave_189 Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 Hey have you double checked every possibility Check any simple problems like cable connection and power.. Then check the bios settingss to make sure they are corrcet. Also tripple check that your hard drives are not set on the drive being a slave driver.
