Physics Processor

Well, I was just browsing the net when I remembered my friend mentioning something he saw about a physics card. I did a quick Google and came up with a forum talking about what was going on. I haven't seen anything about it here, so I was wondering what you guys thought about it.

yes, there was a post about this a while back, but with less info. I think this will be very useful in servers with intense server-side physics in the future. Altho that will be when dialup is ocmpletely eliminated, and fiber optics will be common, because that would be insane amounts of data going back and forth. :P

 

I'll buy one when its requirements lol

guys just to put some more info in on this asus and bfg seem to be to two main producers of the card and it seems that asus is holding out till feb 06 to release the card. ive read a few articles and it seems its comeing out on pci first and later on pci-e. here is a link to a lot more info about the card.
