Ste Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Lol your right your rig is outdated u still got an intel, LMAO, good selection for CPU, good mobo. As for RAM in canada, that sucks. Newegg doesn't ship to canada? Bastards. Maybe someone could buy it for you then you buy it from them.
BabyBalrog Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 I have the DFI baord and have absolutly loved it. As far as RAM, if you plan on OCing, I'd grab some of OCZ's VX line because teh board has teh insain voltages to support it. However the more price consious / non overclockiung version may be more along the lines of teh GX line, or Corsaisr XMS line. Also Ballistix performs really well at stock settings, but doens't OC worth dirt.

lilkev715 Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 The majority looks ok from my view. I would change a few things maybe. 1) From a personal opinion, I'd rather get some TCCD/TCC5 ram instead. 2) Not too sure about the San Diego when you can get a socket 939 Opteron instead. 3) PLEASE, get rid of the stock DFI NF4 chipset fan and get yourself a Evercool VC-RE instead.
