fire_storm Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Why don't you just use all of your memory in your computer for prime95?
apostolics Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 yeah thats obvious. the problem was they were competing for all my ram and since they couldnt get it they would both stall . but when i set it to use 256 mb each it now runs fine

ccokeman Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I usually will set it to 2/3 of what i have on a single instance. If you have 1gb of memory set each instance to use about 350 to 380mb. That way it leaves enough memory for windows to run and you wont be hitting the page file. Have you tried Stress prime 2004? Its a little better looking interface and the adjustments are easier to find. It stiil uses the marsenne program, just pretties it up some.
