What would be the best linux for servers (most likely gaming) out of these:

Fedora Core 1

Fedora Core 2

Fedora Core 3

Fedora Core 4

CentOS 3.x

CentOS 4.x

Slackware - Latest

FreeBSD 4.x

FreeBSD 5.x

OpenBSD

NetBSD

Actually, just read this (self-explanatory):

(this is the thing I am using)

DirectAdmin (OS: Fedora Core - CentOS - FreeBSD - REQUIRES 32-bit OS)

Linux really won't play games very well. If you want games, you want windows.:/

I think he's asking for what distro of Linux would make for a good gaming SERVER

For stability and maximum uptime, go with FreeBSD, definitly not for the faint of heart though, especially when it comes to getting linux game servers to run on it. Markie would be glad to help I'm sure though, and there are plenty of tutorials on google. Fedora is fine if you dont mind having the occassional downtime with it. (and by occasional I mean like every 30 days or so when it encounters a random memory bug, the only thing ive seen go longer than 60 days or even a year for that matter is a BSD server)
