3700+ San Diego - Unlocked Multiplier?

Recommended Posts

not unlocked. Well...yes it is in a sense that you can Lower the multi, but you can't raise it.  I'd go 3700 SD over 3500 V regardless.

if you look at the 3700+ which is 2.2ghz and the Fx57 which is 2.8ghz. than you can 100% for sure oc it to that speed since its the same core. the only thing holding back would be your ram and MB ocing. if indeed they can do 260+ on HTT

The cores are binned, many 3700+ SDs will hit 2.8Ghz just fine, but not all of them and some will need more voltage/cooling to get there.

the FX55 and FX57 have san diego cores and unlocked multies, but the 4000 and below with SD cores are locked at 11-.

Non-FX A64s have a maximum multiplier that is the same as the stock multiplier. CPU speed divided by 200 equals stock/max multiplier.
