Hey peeps,

I've downloaded the file for my SATA drive and it's one file (nFORCE_R.exe) and I just don't know what to do with it..?!

I checked the support under DFI's site, and it's out of order at the moment.

Can someone help me out with this, it's my first time.

Well, if you want to install windows on your SATA, you'll need to put the driver on a floppy and use the F6 option when you first start your install (it'll say "hit F6 to install SATA/Raid drivers", or something like that).

Or, you could use nLite to build the drivers into your install CD, and save a lot of time (if you install often). You may want to test the driver once though, and make sure it's right, before you think about automating it.

Thanks for the fast replys,

What i am having problems with is, the .exe file that I downloaded has no .inf files to extract from it.

I tried extracting it onto the floppy, and it says insert a floppy, but the floppy is inserted, and yes I formatted it before putting it, so there's space in it.
