Dr_Frankenstein Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 you turned the firewall off on the other machine right? i had this problem once i turned off zonealarm and still couldnt connect, so i unistalled zonealarm and restarted and it worked straight away, just because it says its off doesnt mean its not lying to you. legend_jo Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 (edited) yes i turned it off. Turned it & its vector service off. I set it to not come on when i restart. Did this on both PC's at same time, restarted. Same result. I'll try entire uninstall of ZA tonite. LobbDogg Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Yeah, I've seen on numerous occasions where software firewalls need to be completely uninstalled rather than just disabled.
