You have to look really close to see them in a picture. a total of four side buttons...wOOt. I have the plasma. It is so good, it's almost overkill...This mouse is so beautiful. You have to see it yourself in person to truely understand the curves and color. The scroll wheel is sooo quiet. On the fly sens adjustments. 20 adjustments total. you can have 1600dpi....regardless of what your speed is set at..unlike the logitech's what,, either two sense adjustments..of 400dpi or 1600dpi. It DOES NOT COMPARE. Oh and if you open up the mouse there are two empty spots where you can install two more led's of any color.
