Coolzero101 Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Im using the software that came with my mobo (neo plat2) and it doesnt support 4.1, but it supports 5.1 and 7.1..... Are there any alternative programs I could use?
lilkev715 Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 If you are referring to the Realtek ALC850 audio chip on your mobo, then just use the most recent drivers from Realtek's website. Personally though I would ditch the on-board audio and get a add-in PCI audio card (HDA Digital X-Mystique 7.1 Gold, Audigy 2 ZS, etc.). kobalt Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 (edited) Just a suggestion, but i'd get a set of logitech Z-640 they're good little speakers and sells for a bit more than $50 i had those before my new ones, and i higly recommend them as a budget 5.1 speaker set I'm pretty sure you'll love them Edited June 17, 2005 by kobalt
