Ok as you can see I own a pair of 1gb (512x2). anyone know How high can Crank the FSB with this ram? also when ppl write things like the following

250 mhz 2.5-2-2-5 2.8v

That means 250 FSB or the memory Frequency is at 250mhz?

Because I'm Thinking if I Keep my total Memory frequency at 200mhz each or 400 mhz in total my ram should be able to hold up and i can crank my FSB to 270. i KNOW My porcessor can handle it. but will the ram hold up w/o any risk of damage

You cant damage your ram withour upping the votls. As long as you are stock votls you'll be fine - but I doubt that ram can hit 270mhz. You can try, but I dont think it will post :D

I have a pair of PC4000 and I haven't hit past 260Mhz

But yes

250Mhz 2-2-2-5 Means 250 FSB and 2x250 = 500 Memory bus.

And without upping the voltage you can not dangage yoru ram,

You have PC3200 right? I don't know about that, but my Ballistix PC4000 has seen 295Mhz. so, I'd think 230Mhz 1:1 would be doable. IT doesn't tend to like a lot of voltage though. Mine likes 1.55-1.6V. Any more than that and it weird things can start to happen. But you shouldn't really damage it until 1.7+.

Also, try a divider. With a 5:4, you could get your FSB to 250Mhz(if your chip will do it) and have the RAm running at 200Mhz. That's what I did with my old 2.6/HyperX PC3200. On a 5:4 div, I could run 250Mhz FSb all day. At 1:1, it wouldn't go over 217Mhz.

You have Ballistix runnign at 1.5 Volts? DDR not DDR2 right? DDR is in the 2.5-2.8 Volt Range. Also I haven't loosened my voltaged that much so i'm not sure how high my ram will get
