I think im gonna see what I can find on them and may try this with my 6800....btw what's the rating of the cap you put in? I know you said 2.68V but how may uF? accordung to the pic you posted over 3V and btwn 1000-10000uF....
markiemrboo Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 They're rated 16v and 3300uF. They're the only ones I could find where the delivery cost wasn't more than the caps though Trying to get some more sensible ones if I can find them anywhere. Not looking good though. Puck Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 If they are doing the job, dont worry about different ones. I think the huge caps look "tough" In computers big is ALWAYS better...heatsinks, fans, even caps
markiemrboo Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 lol yeah, but you see I want 'high quality'! That's apparently defined by 'low ESR'. I've found some suitable ones, but here's the catch... ~

markiemrboo Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 Guess you couldn't be bothered to actually read the post then? As it happens it doesn't seem to have fixed my problem like I originally thought It's still pausing in games. It's allowed it to raise the clocks higher without pausing in benchmarks though.
