martymcfly Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 1)Will my second monitor hurt my scores? IF so (which i am pretty sure of), should i disable the second monitor or actually unplug it? 2)Are all tests necessary? Like, will it make a difference if i only run the game tests versus also the CPU and feature tests on '03? thanks! I was JW about these things. Byron Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 I am not sure about the secondary monitor, but you do not have to do the other tests, only the game tests.
tbone2sk Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 The second moniter might affect your score, but more likely it will lower your overclock, because it puts more of a stress on your video card.
Dimonicka Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 When running dual monitors I always switch to single mode for benching. There is a noticable difference in scores between one and two monitor tests, for my system anyways.
martymcfly Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 and we have same vid card, so i guess i will just stick to what i have been doing (single mode)
r_target Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Definitely stick with single display for benches or demanding games.
