when ever i try to Get the PLL output, it says error reading PLL.

it also says that when i try to get the frequency, and it wont let me save the changes if i set the frequency manually.

why?

Is there a way to find out what my PLL is?

Mostly it is near by a crystal which has the frequency of 14.3... MHz. Look at you mainboard and you will find a silver part that is about 1 cm long (it looks like a metal stick) and has the numbers 14.318 on top of the case. Nearby this crystal there is the PLL (Phase Locked Loop) that generates all frequencies of the mainboard.

There are only eight (CPUFSB says six but lists eight) manufacturers of PLL IC

It is jus tthis little silver ellipse/rectangle thing that is about 1 cm long. It is shaped kind of like this:

___

(____)

It also took me awhile to find mine, mine is toward the upper right hand corner of my motherboard but yours may not be...I'll try to take a picture of where mine is and what it looks like so you can see the crystal and what the PLL will look like more or less.
