RadioActivated Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Hey peeps, I was just trying to slipstream my chipset drivers onto my XP CD, and I whent like this, 1- CD \ 2- CD nforce3 3- nforce3>nforce3.exe /integrate:c:\xp And when this is finished, my drivers install Why ? Aren't they just supposed to be integrated ?
swifty11212 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 i think that happened because nvidias drivers are all executeables and not dll. im not too sure but my program i had to slipstream (which i lost and need to find one...) wouldnt let me use nividia due to they way they install. however i got it working with ati drivers. maybe search/extrace nvidia drivers and find the dll and slipstream it. good luck. RadioActivated Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 (edited) Well in Paul Thurrott's tut, he uses SP2 which is a .exe file, and SP2 integrates succesfully. Here's the link that I found HERE Edited February 24, 2005 by RadioActivated

RadioActivated Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I am using the latest ones. I have another question, if someone ever heard of nLite, why can I only Insert .inf files ?
gravy Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 the sp2/sp1a network update installer used to make an xp sp2 slipstream disc does the same thing when applied to the xp disc image, it "installs" it into the image, so it seems you did it right when i get home my goal is to slip my raid/sata and intel chipset drivers into my sp2 slipstream disc check out this site http://unattended.msfn.org/index.htm
