OptikaliLLusion Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Alright, so I was able to install the CD drive for my sister's computer. Now, when I start up the computer, it says "CPU is unworkable. Please check blah blah SoftMenu". I check, and it says the CPU is running at 1000MHz. I change the FSB from 100 to 133, multi at 5x, save and restart, but then nothing appears on the display. POST sound beeps once, but nothing else. I turn off the computer and turn it on, and I get the same thing. The computer still works, I can go into XP and everything by hitting F1, but not only is this a nusiance, but also the processor is running at 1GHz. How can I fix this? Sempron 2400+. OptikaliLLusion Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I would think so... oddly enough, my Sempron setup installed Windows fine.
