bigears Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 does any one have the win98 drivers for a PNY atach
Rick_fourdumbkids Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 don't know how successful it would be but you could try zipping the files so that there smaller than 1.44mb or alternatively get a file splitter program and do it that way? bigears Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 at the moment, the drivers are in a .exe file. i havn't opened it yet, as i've not got them home. i tried taking the pen drive drivers off windows XP, but 98 wants a driver information file (.inf), which i can't find. Rick_fourdumbkids Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 if there in a .exe then the zip won't do much good but the file splitter programme would work (if youve got acces to a few floppies) http://www.tucows.com/preview/196052.html
bigears Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 do you need a copy of that at both ends, one to split, and another to re-assemble?
localguru Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 yeah or burn them to a cd!
Rick_fourdumbkids Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 bit of a waste burning 4mb to a cd. And no you don't need it at both ends the wonderful little programme creates something that puts em back together at the other end, really easy to do, i'm sure you'll figure it out
