Get one 12in Infinity perfect. it has a Sensitivity rating of 96, so it will be loud without sounding muddy, plus you won't need a big amp like the kicker subs. Hope this helps.

Yeah those look like the might be a bit expensive. Whats the next step down from those. They look really nice but I just cant afford that right now.

I KNOW! Ive called it that several times, Im not some jessica simpson type person who just says stuff and dosent know what it is.

 

 

I got a box I think friend of mine has it. Its supposed to be really good its a bandpass box. Obcon Box.

 

Its the bottom one.

Well...if it's a premade bandpass box, it's gonna sound like crap no matter what sub you put in it. I would get a couple Infinity Reference subs, as they perform decently in smallish ported boxes, and they may end up sounding okay in the bandpass. At the very least, it will be loud.

Thats what im gunna go w/ i think... The amp is still up in the air though. The rest of my system except for the deck is infinity. So it will be a nice match .

The infinity's should be pretty loud in that box w/ about 500 watts rms for the pair, just don't crank the gains too much and clip the amp. It is extremely hard to hear your subs distorting and/or your amp distorting with a bandpass box, so be careful when setting up the amp.

 

One thing is for sure though...it will be loud. It may be a "one note wonder" but it will be loud. Realistically if you listen to rap/techno it could possibly sound pretty good, but if you listen to classical/metal or anything with a lot of variations and/or really fast hits it might not sound all that great.

 

If you are really really extremely lucky, it will match up and it will sound pretty good.

edit: I just got the box last night dang was it heavy lol no more racing for me . Eh its in my taurtus so i cant really race even w/out it. It came with a neon too added bonus. Im gunna wire it to my trunk light so when I open the trunk it turns on . Gunna look sweet.
