TimeMachine Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 If i use two comps and both running F@H does it mean im having two times the normal fold or is it doubled??
Silverfox Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 the two machines will have one instance of FAH each. each one will be assigned a work unit...these vary a lot so it's not easy to say you will get "double" the folding, but in a sense, you are indeed doubling your folding capability by having two machines running FAH in your name. if they are HT processors, then you can have 2 instances on each one, thus making a total of 4 instances, quadrupling your FAH potential! great! cybergrunt69 Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Did you make very sure that you got your email address right? If so, try going to http://setiathome2.ssl.berkeley.edu/get_passwd.html and trying to get it again. Do you have any of the original emails sent out from Seti when you first joined?
