I thought it was only on the DFI boards that the Sp-97 had issues installing on? Hold on, let me check thermalrights compatability website....

 

Your right, thermalright says to use the Neo-Backplate for installation on the NF7-S rev 2.0, DFI Ultra Lanparty and DFI Ultra Infinity. Neo-Backplate can be bought here.

umm does anyone have a review with a SP-94 and XP120 side by side comparason using the same fan. i know SP-94 lost its title finaly but by how much. 2C? 8C? 10C? what. and they have to be kidding makeing the XP-120 that big. i thought that SP-94 was huge but now compared to its brother it looks like a lil northbridge fan

:D Yea the SP-94 lost cause it got mangled by the 100 cfm 120mm fan (sorry ;) )

 

the size of xp-120 is awsome... being able to use a 120mm to cool the cpu... wow, priceless, low noise dude... even if it has the same cooling capacity as SP-94, I'd still get it

 

don't think there's any real reviews yet... just a preview here and there.

the XP120 is P4 only.

too bad i wanted to try one on my athlon to see what i can do with it

AMD: Athlon64 FX 3200+/Athlon64 3200+ and above

 

is the 64bit socket different?? I recall that it is. hmm.. wierd.
