CheeseMan42 Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 i had burned a cd and put it back in to make sure that the data got on it and the label came off. it is inside my cd burner and was wondering how i can get it out. i can see it but didnt want to go sticking anything in there. especially while its on. any help would be appreciated. Rick_fourdumbkids Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 you should be fine to stick some kind of plastic rod in there to get it out the only other alternative would be to take the cd drive out and take it apart but this will pretty much void any kind of warranty on it, you might even be pretty safe to put some tweezers in there i know it would be easier to grab hold of the label with them Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

bigred Posted May 11, 2004 Posted May 11, 2004 man D3, make it sound so easy which it actually IS that simple. and no there is no other way, cuz you might end up pulling appart one of those fine ribbon cables in the drive or unplugging an internal connector, or worse yet break a solder point.
