ir_cow Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Anyone else feel the earthquake last night about 12:30AM (MT)? It was 60miles Northwest from where I live. It shook the house and set off a few car alarms. The aftershock felt like a train next to me. This was one of more intense quakes I've felt, usually I can't tell between the local coal train going through town and a earthquake. You know the normal low rumble. ccokeman Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 We had one of similar intensity back in 2011 about 20 miles from where I live in Viriginia. Wrecked a lot of historical buildings in the area. I was about 80 miles away on the other side of the mountains when it hit and felt it there.
