frio77 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I want to know what are the temps most people get on a i7 4770k before it is overclocked under 100% load with a stock cooler ? I want to know because I have a after market cooler and my temps are the lowest 62c and the highest 75c and a average of 72c under 100% load with prime 95 and monitored with real temp 3.70 . are my temps better then a stock cooler or worst ? ir_cow Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Here are my Stock Cooler results Stock Intel84c High 34 Low 3.9ghz (1.034v)98 H 41 L 4.2ghz (1.1v)100 H 43 L 4.5ghz (1.25v) as you can see the at stock intel coolers barely cuts it and once you overclock, it's a stupid idea to run it near max temp. The 4770k is just a hot running chip and unless you de-lid (not advised) those temps are fine. Also have you tried HWmonitor? sometimes these software readers can have different results.
