bp9801 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Driving around the Batmobile is what I fear I'll spend most of my time doing. I'm sure the story will be great to go up against Scarecrow and the like (and maybe lose your mind battling Scarecrow), but give me that Batmobile and we're good. Guest_Jim_* Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Andrew, as the resident games-guru, I'm curious if you can think of any other AAA, multi-platform title coming to current-gen and PC only, releasing this year? This is the only one I can think of and am definitely looking forward to it.
bp9801 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 There's Dark Souls II.
ClayMeow Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 There's Dark Souls II. DS2 is the opposite..."previous-gen" and PC. Jim is referring to "next-gen" as "current gen", which is accurate at this point. lol The only game I can think of off the top of my head is The Witcher 3. EDIT: Though whether W3 actually launches in 2014 is technically not confirmed yet, just speculated. Oh, and EVOLVE, duh! Can't believe I forgot that one. InCrYsIs Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) Dragon Age Inquisition is coming out for all 5 systems this year.....supposedly. More Batman??? Who wouldn't want more Batman??? Looks good. I did like the last one the least but it was still above average. So many games this year. Just bought South Park the Stick of Truth and that wasn't on the list for 2014. ClayMeow Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Dragon Age Inquisition is coming out for all 5 systems this year.....supposedly. Again, that's not the question. Jim wants to know what 2014 AAA titles are SKIPPING last gen (PS3, 360) and just going with PC, PS4, and XBO (and maybe Wii U? lol). In other words, which games can we look forward to this year that are going to really push gaming further without being hampered down by 10yr-old tech. So far we have: Batman: Arkham Knight The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Evolve CD Projekt's other game, Cyberpunk 2077, is also scheduled for PC, PS4 and XBO only, but not sure what the release window is for that since it probably depends on W3. bp9801 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Daylight is PC and PS4; The Elder Scrolls Online is PC, PS4, and XBone; same for the new Hitman game (if it comes in 2014), The Crew, Scivelation; and Project CARS adds Wii U to the list. I still view current-gen as PS3/360, not PS4/Xbone/Wii U.

Though I don't blame you I doubt "Hitman 6" will release in 2014 since it's barely been discussed, but anything is possible I guess - we don't know how long it's been in development.
